Once again another week or two has flown past. I have had my first comment posted (hoorah). At least someone else in cyber space is at least vaguely interested. Last weekend went to Germany (Cologne). It was just meant to be a quiet weekend but it turned out very different. Hit Cologne city centre about 1am (yes am). Found a club and bopped the night away (sorry for the use of the word bopped). When we emerged it was starting to get light. Now that hasn't happened to me for many a year. What really struck me there were no drunken yobs, no shouting, vommiting or aggression. This seems to be a prerequisit in many towns and cities in the UK. Anyhow Saturday comes round and guess what we have an afternoon beverage and end up meeting up with 3 ladies from Newcastle (in England). Well many many beers later sees us very drunk and making a beeline back to the club. When we eventually emmerged it was very early (in the morning). Still noticeably absesnce of any unreasonable behaviour. Sunday arrives and we decide to go site seeing down the Rhine which is pretty neat. I can now order a beer in German (it involves quite a lot of pointing). Got back late on Sunday for work on Monday. Had great fun but could have done with more preparation for the event! Really felt that I had escaped for the weekend though! I have posted photos below for anyone who might be interested. Sorry for the watermarks but they can be removed by emailing the address on them! Well it's been a couple of weeks and the time has flown by as always. It seems that no matter what is happening the days fly by. This is multiplied when half term is involved. Had a good week but way too fast. Spent last weekend, drinking at Dan's and he had a BBQ. Then there was an attempt to go to London to see a cheap westend show. Well that worked (not). The tickets were not cheap so it was a bit of a wasted journey.
I have just got back from visiting Polly and Ginge. It was nice to see them although they seem to beat me at everthing. Mario Kart and Pool. Not good for my ego. Still had a great time and it was nice to see them!
